Create your first UI table in Figma
Build a small table with realistic content before adapting the styling for a full interface.
Plan the columns
Choose a simple use case such as a project directory. Define three or four columns and include realistic values. A design built only with short placeholder names can hide wrapping and alignment problems that appear with actual data.
Generate and refine
Open UI Table Builder in Figma, set the table content and adjust the available style controls. Insert the result into the target file. Review the header, cell spacing and row boundaries in context with the rest of the screen rather than judging the table in isolation.
Stress-test the design
Add a long project name, an empty field and a row with more text than the others. Check what happens at the narrowest intended width. Include notes for responsive behavior and interactions that a static Figma table cannot demonstrate by itself.
